Superintendent Paul E. Whitley

Pastor of Revival Temple C.O.G.I.C.

Pastor Paul E. Whitley was born in Washington, NC where he was a member of Davenport Temple COGIC. He accepted his calling to ministry in 1977 under the leadership of the late Bishop L.B. Davenport.

Having served in many capacities in the local church, Pastor Whitley was later appointed pastor of Revival Temple COGIC by Bishop Leroy Jackson Woolard in April 1994. During his tenure, many lives have been changed for the Glory of God.

Pastor Whitley serves as Greater N. C. Jurisdiction Assistant Building Fund chairman and District Superintendent of the Asheboro District. His devotion to leadership is commendable.

Pastor Whitley is the founder of H.O.P.E. Community Outreach which is an extended ministry of Revival Temple. Since its inception, H.O.P.E. has made tremendous contributions to the community.

He is a student of the Word holding a Master's degree in Biblical Studies from N.C. College of Theology, Wilmington, NC.

Pastor Whitley is married to First Lady Joycetine Whitley, a father and grandfather. He is a sold out vessel for Jesus and his endeavor is to please the Lord.
